Strategic Game Night @ DMPS

Des Moines Public School District's Advanced Learning Program hosted a strategic game night and invited GLiB to demo some games designed by Iowans. 

The night went by quickly but we hosted 2 games of The Best Medicine, and talked to dozens of families about the board game design community in Iowa. We brought copies of Old Salt, Some-R-Set, Boop, Hues and Cues, Fallen Land, Caution Signs, and Morbid Living. 

We also talked about Little Creators Club, a startup by Tim Ferry III that teaches elementary schoolers how to design, prototype, and play test their own original board games. Lindy of GLiB Games has been one of the company's instructors since 2023, and it's one of her favorite ways to play and design games.
